A high-performance version of the Kia EV9 electric three-row SUV, to be badged the GT, has been confirmed for a January debut, and it will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds. This is according to Kia's Investor Day presentation.
Kia is gearing up to unveil its first-ever pickup truck, the Hilux rivalling Tasman that will see a global debut in the coming months. Ahead of its full reveal, Kia has teased the Tasman, wrapped in a unique camouflage developed in collaboration with New Zealand-based artist Richard Boyd-Dunlop, inspired by Australia’s diverse landscapes.

In October last year, Kia showed its new EV5 two-row electric SUV for Asian markets as part of the Hyundai Group's first EV day in Seoul, South Korea. A 'Honey I shrunk the crossover' version of the EV9, the EV5 hit the market in three trims. The entry-level version packs a 64-kilowatt-hour battery pack juicing a 214-horsepower front motor; a long-range version pairs an 88-kWh pack with the same motor; and a dual-motor, AWD variant is expected to make 308 hp combined and provide a 404-mile driving range on the CLTC cycle. The automaker mentioned an EV5 GT on the way, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (via Autohome (translated)) has put that trim online, adding a few specs to help us figure out where the EV 5 could fit were it to come here.

The Kia Stinger GT is dead. Long live the electric GTs. Following the EV6 GT, there's a new EV5 GT on the way. Although announced last year, it hasn't officially launched. However, revealing images have emerged in China as part of the vehicle's homologation process. The photos were published on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's website where there are also some preliminary technical specifications.
