Named after the stylish city in which the automaker was founded almost 114 years ago, Alfa Romeo is now only a few days away from unveiling its newest SUV; the Milano, which is touted to take inspiration from its forebears.

With just a few days left until the official unveiling of the new Alfa Romeo Milano, anticipation is high for this pivotal model set to mark the brand’s return to the fiercely competitive premium B segment, albeit in SUV form now. Set to rival contenders like the Audi Q2 and the Lexus LBX, the Milano will debut with both electric and mild hybrid petrol variants, catering to diverse preferences, with commercial rollout scheduled by September 2024.

As part of Stellantis, Alfa Romeo aims to revitalize its legacy through products steeped in tradition and past glories. A sneak peek at the disguised Milano hints at a design reminiscent of the brand’s iconic Alfasud from the ’70s and ’80s, particularly noticeable in the rear styling. This unofficial rendering, captured from the MV Auto Youtube channel, showcases a distinct fin-like feature reminiscent of its ancestor, which may evoke mixed reactions but is poised to make an impression on future sales as it hopes to become a popular choice like its forebear was.
