The Mahindra XUV 3XO which has been recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom), offers nine main trim levels: MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro AX5, AX5 L,AX7 and AX7 L. Toyota India might launch the Fortuner with a mild-hybrid engine later this year. The updated model was introduced in South Africa a while ago and should offer better low-end driveability and fuel efficiency. Apart from the updated powertrain, there are no expected changes in the Toyota Fortuner. The Fortuner mild-hybrid gets the same 2.8-litre diesel engine, paired with a 48v mild-hybrid system. Power in the South African model is 3 PS down at 201 PS, but torque output remains the same at 500 Nm. The Bajaj Chetak’s sales have grown 3.5 times more in the recently finished financial year (April 2023 — March 2024) as compared to the one before that. And now, the manufacturer is all set to expand the number of Chetak dealerships from 200 to 600 across the country.
