When comparing standout features, the Mahindra XUV 3XO edges slightly above the Hyundai Venue. This advantage comes mainly because of the inclusion of a segment-first panoramic sunroof, ADAS L2 suite, and dual-zone climate control. The Hyundai Venue on the other hand gets features like a dash-cam, which is absent in the XUV 3XO. Notably, the infotainment screen size is smaller in the Hyundai Venue when compared to the 10.25-inch unit on the XUV 3XO. A premium Harman/Kardon sound system can be found in the top-spec XUV 3XO, while the Venue offers a regular 6-speaker sound system.

However, Mahindra offers two variations of the turbo-petrol engine, the second one equipped with direct injection for improved performance. The Hyundai Venue on the other hand offers a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine.

The 3XO, has greater torque across its engine variants compared to the Venue. While the Venue provides two transmission options for its turbo-petrol engine, DCT and IMT, the XUV 3XO presents one manual option along with a newly introduced torque converter automatic. Both SUVs offer manual transmission options with their diesel engines, with the XUV 3XO also featuring a diesel automatic variant.
