Geely announced that its Panda Mini EV – Go Kart Edition will launch on May 9. The car has already started pre-sale with a price tag of 48,900 yuan (6,800 USD) in late April. As a derivative of the Panda Mini, the Go Kart Edition has adjusted its appearance and has a CLTC cruising range of 200 km.

On May 6, Great Wall Motor (GWM) announced that its total sales volume in April was 94,796 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%, making its cumulative sales from January to April 370,129 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 18.18%.
