Red Lamborghini Centenario Roadster Is A True Italian Unicorn

Lamborghini built just 20 examples of the Aventador-based Centenario Roadster and what could be the most striking example of them all is heading to auction at the end of this month. It is expected to sell for between €3 million ($3.2 million) and €4 million ($4.3 million). The Italian marque unveiled the Centenario back in March 2016 and built 20 Coupes and 20 Convertibles.

While it shares its carbon fiber monocoque and 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 with the Aventador, the Centenario is adorned with completely bespoke bodywork.Read: Lamborghini Reventon, Centenario, And Sian Showcased In Hong Kong DealershipThis particular Centenario Roadster is finished in the stunning shade of Rosso Efesto, contrasted by a gloss black racing stripe running over the hood, across the rear decklid, and through to the adjustable rear wing. There are also plenty of carbon fiber components, including the front splitter, engine cover, and that massive rear diffuser that wouldn’t look out of place on a prototype race car.

A set of carbon fiber wheels is also present. The interior is just as stunning as the exterior featuring a mixture of components bathed in Nero Ade and Rosso Alala. For example, the seats are clad in Nero Ade Alcantara with Rosso Alala accents.

Other elements wrapped in red include parts of the steering wheel, center console, and door pulls while the cabin is also covered in red contrast stitching.More: Rare Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta Is A $5.8 Million CollectibleAccording to the listing on RM Sotheby’s, the Italian supercar has remained with its original owner since new and has only ever been driven 71 km (44 miles), despite being delivered almost six years ago.
