Pink Can Now be Had on Wrangler Lineup with Loud Tuscadero Hue

Jeep is bringing back Tuscadero to commemorate 4×4 Day. This vibrant pink hue, first introduced on the 2021 Wrangler, makes its return as a colour option for the updated 2024 Jeep Wrangler.

Named after Pinky Tuscadero from the ’70s sitcom “Happy Days,” Tuscadero was a hit when it debuted in 2021. Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America, shared, “Some 30 000 customers placed an order for Tuscadero when it first debuted in 2021. We’re always looking to deliver what our customers tell us they want, so we’re ‘tickled pink’ to bring back the highly sought-after Tuscadero paint shade on Jeep Wrangler to mark 4×4 Day 2024.”

Initially, Tuscadero will be available with a black hardtop, body-colour hardtop, or black soft top. Later in the second quarter of this year, it will also be compatible with Jeep’s Sky One-Touch power roof. Tuscadero joins a lineup of vivid, limited-edition colours like Gobi, Gecko, Chief, and Nacho, adding customization and allure to the Jeep Wrangler and other Jeep brand models.

Jeep Wrangler Set to Bid Farewell to its V8 Engine

For the 2024 model year, the Jeep Wrangler undergoes some exterior updates, including a revised front grille, new wheel designs, and a trail-ready stealth antenna integrated into the front windshield. Inside, the 2024 Wrangler boasts available 12-way heated power-adjustable front seats, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and standard side curtain airbags in the first and second rows.

In terms of safety, new Advanced Driver Assistance Systems have been added, including Lane Departure Warning, Drowsy Driver Detection, and Traffic Sign Information with Intelligent Speed Alert. The powertrain lineup includes the plug-in hybrid 4xe, featuring a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, two electric motors, and a high-voltage battery pack capable of delivering up to 55 km of all-electric range.

The Wrangler maintains its body-on-frame design, front and rear five-link suspension system, solid axles, and electronic lockers, ensuring its capability on and off the road remains top-notch.
