Force Gurkha 5-door Interior Teased, Offers A Glimpse Of This Modern Feature

  • Upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door interior teased.

  • Includes digital driver’s display and will likely feature an electronically operated four-wheel-drive selector.

  • To be powered by the same 91 PS 2.6-litre diesel engine, likely with a slight power boost.

  • Launch expected in coming months with an expected starting price of around Rs 16 lakh.

Ahead of its imminent launch, Force Motors is actively teasing the Gurkha 5-door, and this time its interior has been previewed for the first time. We get a glimpse of the upcoming SUV's interior, which highlights the dashboard and seating layout. Let’s decode what else the latest teaser reveals.

The Force Gurkha 5-door’s dashboard resembles that of the three-door model. However, the latest teaser showcases its digital driver’s display, absent in the Gurkha 3-door. Additionally, it reveals dual-tone leatherette seat upholstery and reveals captain seats for the Gurkha 5-door’s third row, consistent with earlier spy shots.

Apart from a digital driver’s display, the Gurkha 5-door is expected to feature an electronically operated four-wheel-drive selector and a larger touchscreen infotainment system than the 7-inch unit in the Gurkha 3-door. It should carry forward features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a four-speaker sound system, telescopic and tilt steering, and central locking from the Gurkha 3-door.

Safety features should include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a reverse camera with rear parking sensors.

It is expected to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, along with manual locking front and rear differentials, further enhancing its off-road capabilities.

We expect Force Motors to launch the Gurkha 5-door in the coming months, with a higher starting price than the Gurkha 3-door, which starts from Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, and will rival the
