Route planning

Seamlessly blending innovation and convenience, the Hyundai EV Route Planner and Bluelink® Connectivity make travelling in an electric car a lot more convenient.

The EV Route Planner ensures a smooth and efficient journey by providing real-time information on charging stations along the way. This intelligent system automatically recommends up to four charging stops – prioritising high-speed chargers – during the journey while considering factors such as battery consumption, traffic conditions, road type, terrain, weather, and wishes for last-minute detours. Not only is the charging time calculated into the estimated time of arrival, but the state of charge (SOC) level is also forecasted at charging stops and the destination. This results in an enhanced sense of confidence and control in the electric car driving experience as the driver can embark on long-distance trips without range anxiety.

Complementing the EV Route Planner, Hyundai’s Bluelink® Connectivity adds an extra layer of comfort and convenience. Through the Bluelink® app, the driver can remotely monitor and control various aspects of the car, from preconditioning the cabin temperature to checking the charging status. This level of connectivity ensures that the car is ready to go, even before the journey begins. Additionally, Bluelink® allows the driver to find petrol and charging stations, plan routes, and locate points of interest.
