Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Teased And Spied Again Ahead Of May 3 Launch

The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 has been teased once again ahead of its launch. In fact, the biggest Pulsar bike has also been spied one more time, providing us with new details about its brake setup and more.

From the spy shots, we could see that it is based on the Bajaj Pulsar NS200’s chassis and gets a gold-finished inverted fork and gas-charged monoshock. It also seems to get an all-new floating disc brake, not seen previously on the Dominar 400 or the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Both the front and the rear brakes get Grimeca calipers with the front calipers mounted axially. The tyres are MRF Revz S units. The bike also gets a black colour option with striking silver and red graphics and NS400 stickers on the tail section and the belly pan. Also, the instrument console is a coloured LCD unit with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation (the navigation arrows could be shown in the section where it says ‘Let Us Ride’ in the picture). The console shows speedometer, odometer, tachometer and other regular readouts and also displays traction control and ride modes (Road, Sport, Rain and Off-Road) readouts.

The teaser shows a clear view of the headlight design with the LED DRLs resembling the head shape of the Carnage character from the Venom movie. So the red colour option could just be called Carnage Red. The indicators are also LED units. It gets a split-seat setup and split grab rails. The faux vents on the side panels and the radiator shrouds below the tank extensions are visible in the teaser. The brake and clutch levers are adjustable and the rear view mirrors seem to be borrowed from the Bajaj Dominar 400.

The other details like the engine casing and the overall design are already known to us from when the bike was teased and spied before. The upcoming 400cc streetfighter will be powered by the same 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40PS and 35Nm found in the Dominar 400, with the gearing expected to be different to suit the NS400’s streetfighter character.
