Boasting a whopping 614 kW and 1 000 N.m of torque, Aston Martin’s recently-revealed new V12 engine is scheduled to make its debut in a new flagship model, which is penned in to be introduced later in 2024. However, in addition to this upcoming Aston Martin, the twin-turbocharged V12 petrol unit will also be powering the firm’s “most exclusive” products, as it will be built in limited numbers.

Although further technical details have yet to be revealed, Aston Martin has shared the upgrades that have been made to this hand-built powertrain. For this engine, the automaker has strengthened the cylinder block and conrods, redesigned the cylinder heads (to incorporate re-profiled camshafts), and fitted it with new intakes and exhaust ports.

In addition to these updates, the spark plugs have been repositioned, while new fuel injectors with an enhanced flow rate have been equipped to the power plant to ensure optimal combustion for “class-leading” performance and efficiency. Thanks to the new set of breathing apparatus, throttle response has increased.
