Volkswagen Taigun Trail edition launched in India at Rs 16.29 lakh

Volkswagen India has launched the Volkswagen Taigun Trail edition at Rs 16.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Loaded with 11 distinct features and Trail-inspired design elements, the special edition model is exclusively available for bookings online under the GT Edge Limited Collection.

The Volkswagen Taigun Trail edition gets Trail-inspired body side graphics, black roof foil, Trail badge at the rear, black-coloured door garnish, black OVRMs with red accents and black Belmont alloy wheels. It comes in three exterior colour options — Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel Grey.

Inside the cabin, you get Trail-themed seat covers, puddle lamps and sporty foot pedals. The Taigun Trail edition has a dashcam with dual cameras and an in-built 5.08cm IPS LCD. The dashcam boasts the following features.

The Volkswagen Taigun Trail edition uses the 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This petrol motor develops 150PS of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque.
