Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle launched at Rs 2.99 lakh

Ultraviolette has launched the updated version of its electric motorcycle — the F77. Called the F77 Mach 2, this features upgrades mainly in the software and electronics department. Prices for the F77 Mach 2 start at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), which is applicable for the first 1,000 bookings. Customers can book the F77 Mach 2 from today.

One of the major updates with the F77 Mach 2 is that the motorcycle comes with 10-level regen modes. This can be adjusted either directly by the riding modes or individually. The motorcycle also gets a 3-level traction control system, and Dynamic Stability Control system. These work together to control the Regen braking and ABS to ensure safety and stability for the F77 Mach 2. There is also a Hill-Hold feature which is important for customers who live in India's hilly regions.

Delta Watch is a feature making its debut with the F77 Mach 2. This is essentially the IMU and gyro systems keeping a very stringent watch on the status of the bike. Hence if anyone tried to sit, or move the F77 Mach 2, it sends an alert to the owners smartphone and has an alarm.

Speaking on the launch of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette said, «The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 represents a significant leap forward in our mission to superior and futuristic mobility solutions. The advancements in Mach 2 are a result of the data we’ve collected from our vehicles as well as interactions with our customers over the last year and a half. At Ultraviolette, our aim is to deliver an uncompromising experience to our customers and set new benchmarks in the realm of electric mobility. With an improved IDC range of 323 km, which is considerably more than what we offered with our maiden product, the F77 Mach 2 is an evocative and compelling proposition that offers riders the freedom to do much more with their motorcycles.»

Customers will now be able to choose the Performance Pack which bundles Dynamic Regen and 4-level traction control system, making the ride even more performance oriented. Also available as an option is the Violette AI, which alerts the rider of movement, fall, tow alert, crash alert, daily
