Upcoming Toyota crossover (Taisor) teased.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has revealed that it will increase the prices of its model range with effect from 1 April, 2024. This will be the second hike from the automaker as the first revision took place in January this year.
The Renault-Nissan Alliance in India recently previewed four new SUVs that are expected to arrive soon. Two of these SUVs will be C-segment 5-seat SUVs, while the other two will be 7-seat C-segment SUVs. As has been the case with shared models, Renault and Nissan will have one 5-seater and one 7-seater, each. These new SUVs will be based on the latest version of the CMF-B platform, which underpins the current generation Duster, which sadly isn’t sold in India any more. We expect the first model from the CMF-B platform to launch in 2025. When these upcoming SUVs do arrive in India, they will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor will increase prices of select models by up to 1% from April 1 owing to escalating input costs and operational expenditures.
Maruti Suzuki India has claimed an impressive range of more than 1,200km for the hybrid version of the Grand Vitara SUV and the Invicto MPV on a single full fuel tank.
Renault-Nissan teased their compact SUVs for India.
Citroen has taken the wraps off its upcoming SUV coupe, the Basalt Vision, globally. Designed primarily for the South American and Indian markets, it shares the same CMP platform as the Citroen C3 and Citroen C3 Aircross. While official launch details are not yet available, we expect the French carmaker to introduce it in our market in the coming months.
Citroen is all set to unveil its SUV coupe, the Citroen Basalt, on March 27. This global model would sit above the C3 Aircross in the company's India line-up.
