The UAW and GM announced a tentative agreement Monday that is set to end the historic Stand Up strike after 46 days. According to Automotive News, UAW President Shawn Fain, GM CEO Mary Barra, and GM's executive vice president of global manufacturing and sustainability Gerald Johnson held marathon talks over the weekend that went into the early hours of Monday morning. The deal looks to have successfully achieved many of the UAW's goals and is now subject to ratification from the UAW's 46,000 GM members.
