The new Audi Q6 E-Tron is finally here. Following our test of a near-production Q6 E-Tron prototype in July 2023 and reveal of the handsome cockpit with all its digital screens, we finally have all the details.
BMW will provide a look at the future of its SUV line-up on March 21, when it shows the new Vision Neue Klasse X concept SUV. The German brand confirmed the reveal date on social media with a teaser image showing the car’s side profile, and it has a similar silhouette to the current iX.
At launch, the Q6 E-Tron will be available in dual-motor all-wheel drive form or the sportier SQ6 E-Tron with two entry-level rear-drive models due later.
Last summer, we had a brief chance to drive the new Audi Q6 e-tron in the Faroe Islands. It was a good tease of what to expect, though details and technological developments were somewhat scarce. After attending a deep dive into these aspects in Munich, it's clear this latest EV from Audi is a solid all-electric SUV, though it doesn't really break much new ground. Instead, it increases efficiencies throughout the drivetrain while adding some notable tech improvements.

The addition of the Audi Q6 e-tron will see the brand’s EV portfolio in international markets increase to eight and provide a long-awaited electric alternative to the Q5 SUV.
