The mid-cycle update for the Kia Carens MPV has been spied testing in the brand’s home country. The three-row people mover has been on sale in India since February 2022, and its facelift is due sometime next year. The Carens facelift seen testing here is likely to be powered by a combustion engine, though an all-electric version is also in the works, and has been spied on test earlier.

Kia is working on the facelifted version of its entry-level MPV, the Carens. The test mule of the three-row car was spied in its home country draped in thick camouflage. It is expected to debut in the Indian market in early 2025.

Earlier, the automatic gearbox was only available in the base S variant and the top-spec V variant, leaving the mid-spec G variant with only a manual gearbox. Do note that bookings for the new variant are now open and deliveries are to commence from May 5, 2024.
