Honda has not been the fastest automaker to the EV table, but it’s slowly announcing new models. The Prologue SUV developed in partnership with GM will be first, but Honda also has vehicles in the works with Sony and others in-house. The automaker recently announced a new EV to be shown at next year’s CES show in January, and what we can see of the design suggests a radical shape.

The 2024 year all-electric version of the Deepal SL03 sedan launched in China on February 20. Chinese media claim the starting price is now 27,000 yuan (3,750 USD) cheaper than for the 2023 models. Brutal competition in China’s new energy vehicle market shows no signs of abating. Yesterday saw a discount of 10,000 yuan (1,400 USD) on the price of the Deepal S7 meaning prices now start from 169,900 yuan (23,600 USD).
More spy pictures are emerging of the as yet unnamed BYD pickup truck. Most importantly there are pictures indicating that right-hand drive models are already being tested. This means that it will almost certainly be heading to the Australian market and possibly the South African market soon.
Whilst the machine shown in these digital images are technically for a European model, it is all but certain this electric N Line will be available in America very soon.
