Skoda Kodiaq Top Variant Prices Slashed Ahead Of Facelift Launch In India

The flagship Skoda offering in India is now offered in just the top-spec Kodiaq L&K variant only, Style and Sportline variants officially discontinued

  • Skoda Kodiaq L&K prices slashed by Rs 2 lakh, now listed at Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • All-new Kodiaq globally revealed, could come to India by end of 2024.

The variant list of the Skoda Kodiaq in India has been revised recently and the premium full-size SUV is now available in the top-of-the-line L&K variant only. Furthermore, the prices for the Kodiaq L&K variant have also been revised from Rs 41.99 lakh to Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kodiaq L&K Features

As a flagship offering, the Skoda Kodiaq is already a well-equipped SUV as standard but the L&K variant gets additional features like dynamic chassis control, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. It also gets more safety tech like a 360-degree view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and hill descent control.

The Skoda Kodiaq L&K also gets variant-exclusive cosmetic details such as ‘Laurin & Klement’ branding inside and out.

Kodiaq Powertrain Details

The India-spec Skoda Kodiaq is only available with one engine and gearbox option – 2-litre turbo-petrol with a 7-speed DSG (dual clutch automatic). It has a performance rating of 190 PS and 320 Nm, distributed to all four wheels via the all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.

New Kodiaq Coming

The all-new Skoda Kodiaq made its global debut in October 2023, sporting a refreshed exterior design and an all-new cabin layout, as well as a lot more features. While it gets different engine options depending on the market, it will continue to be offered with a single petrol-automatic AWD option only in India. In terms of features, the new SUV comes with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, all-new multi-input climate control system and improved safety with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The Skoda Kodiaq SUV competes against the likes of the Jeep Meridian, Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.
