Porsche 944 Turbo By Aimé Leon Dore Looks Classy With A Brown Interior

Who doesn’t love a beautifully restored Porsche, especially when it includes a few nice personalization touches. New York fashion house Aimé Leon Dore unveiled its fourth collaboration with the Zuffenhausen brand, a special Porsche 944 finished in red with gold accents and a brown interior, taking us back to the ’80s.The 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo went through an extensive restoration program.

The exterior is painted in Guards Red combined with gold period-correct decals on the sides. The final touch is a gorgeous set of 17-inch “teledial” rims which are also finished in gold.More: Porsche 928 Gets Stunning Futuristic Makeover By Nardone AutomotiveThe interior is even more special than the exterior, with every surface covered by a combination of perforated tan leather and sienna brown Alcantara, while the floor mats and the lower door panels are crafted from alpaca fibers.

The Aimé Leon Dore logo has been embossed on the steering wheel and headrests, alongside the original Porsche 944 lettering.Instead of a fancy infotainment, the company re-installed the vintage Blaupunkt radio with a cassette player taking us back to 1986. Furthermore, the build is accompanied by styling pieces including a leather jacket and a hat.Since this was never intended to be a restomod project, the underpinnings were presumably left stock.

The original 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo was fitted with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 217 hp (162 kW / 220 PS) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque.
