Hyundai India has hiked the prices of select cars in its model range with immediate effect. Thus, the carmaker has now joined the likes of Honda, Kia, Toyota, and MG, who have also increased the prices of their cars this month.
For the third consecutive year, the Tata Nexon has emerged as the largest-selling SUV in India, beating its Japanese and Korean rivals in FY24. The SUV has retained its numero uno position despite its sales taking a hit in August 2023 as the facelift model was about to be launched in September 2023.
Kia India has revised the prices of its most popular SUV, the Seltos in the country. The Hyundai Creta rival is now available at a starting price of Rs. 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). As a result, customers planning to book the Seltos in April will have to pay a premium of up to Rs. 67,000 depending on the variant.

Kia on April 1 began producing exports models of the EV5 in China. Up until now the compact electric SUV has been a China only model but the car will be exported from China to both left and hand and right hand drive markets.
The Kia K9 – previously known as the K900 – remains the largest and most luxurious sedan from the Korean automaker. For 2024, the model has been updated in its home market receiving mild visual tweaks and a more generous equipment package as standard.The Kia K900 was originally introduced in 2018, followed by a comprehensive mid-lifecycle update in 2021 which didn’t make it to the US market. The second facelift is a lot more discreet, with the visual updates being difficult to spot without a direct comparison.
