Today, a Chinese insider with the nickname “源之头2018” reported that BYD started trial manufacturing at the Thailand plant. According to his sources, mass production will start here next month. The Thai factory has a planned production volume of 150,000 cars per year. In April 2024, BYD will also begin constructing the assembly plant in Indonesia.

Hozon Auto‘s brand Neta, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, announced through its official Weibo account that its Indonesian factory received its first batch of production equipment on March 6. This marks a significant step towards achieving localized production in Indonesia.
