Honda Elevate: Most Popular Colour And Variant Choices In Japan Detailed

The Made-in-India Honda Elevate, known as the WR-V in Japan, has swiftly captured the market, garnering over 13,000 bookings within its first month of sale. Honda says this milestone exceeded its expectations as it was aiming for 3000 units per month. With this announcement, Honda also unveiled a breakdown of the popular colour choices and the variant preferences among the Japanese customers. Japan-spec Elevate Variant-wise Booking Ratio

Honda offers the WR-V in Japan in three variants: X, Z, and Z+. Among them, the mid-spec Z variant has garnered the maximum bookings at 55 percent. It comes equipped with LED headlights with DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, multiple airbags, and ADAS.

Japan-spec Popular Colour Choices

Coming on to the colour options, the Pearl White Pearl stands out to be the most popular choice at 35 percent, followed by Crystal Black Pearl and Meteoroid Gray Metallic at 28 percent and 18 percent respectively for the Japan-spec Elevate. Additionally, Honda offers the WR-V with two more colour options: Illumina Red Metallic and Gold Brown Metallic.

Both, the India-spec Elevate and the Japanese model, are powered by a 121 PS 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. In India, we get the option to configure it with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT, while the Japan-spec Elevate is offered only with CVT. The Honda Elevate in India is priced between Rs 11.69 lakh and Rs 16.71 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
