Here’s How The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon Differs From The Older Recon Variant

Ultraviolette has launched a new and updated model of its electric bike – the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. With an introductory price tag of Rs 3,99,999 for the Recon variant, the new electric motorcycle is more affordable than the precious model. Despite being more affordable, it gets a bunch of very useful updates over the previous model, let’s see how they are different.

Motor & Battery

While the Recon Mach 2 comes with the same 10.3kWh battery pack, the range is a lot more than the previous model.

Now the batteries have stayed the same, and so have the charging times. However, there is a new Supernova charging option for Mach 2:

The motor is bigger now, making 30kW peak power and 100Nm, which is 1kW and 5Nm more than the previous model. And the new specs have resulted in more performance as well.

The electric bike is now faster, quicker and more manic than before, and just wait till you see all the features it comes equipped with now.

Features

With the F77 Mach 2 Recon, Ultraviolette has introduced 10 levels of regenerative braking, which will give levels of intervention and stopping power. For more safety, the bike even comes with 4 levels of traction control, along with Dynamic Stability Control, and all three of these features are standard on the Recon variant. On the contrary, the previous F77 Recon came with just three levels of regen with not much to distinguish between them and no traction control.

In addition to that, F77 Mach 2 gets a bunch of interesting features including charge limit, park assist, find my F77 and Deep sleep/vacation mode as standard. There are also some features like Violette AI, geofencing/delta watch, lockdown, crash alerts and ride analytics.

For the future, the F77 Mach 2 will also be getting hill hold assist, Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), display themes, on-board navigation and more.
