Gladiator Gets Jeep’s Hottest Color For The First Time Ever

Nailing automotive paint colors is really hard, and few automakers are as frequently successful as Jeep, whose off-road, enthusiast-oriented vehicles are offered in a variety of bright, fun colors. And a new hue just became available to Gladiator buyers for the very first time.Tuscadero was first introduced on the Wrangler in 2021, and 30,000 customers ordered an SUV with the pink paint.

However, this will be the first time that Jeep offers the option on the Gladiator pickup, and that’s thanks to customer demand.Read: 2021 Jeep Wrangler Announced With Tuscadero Pink, Only Available Until November“Our passionate Jeep fans asked for this limited-run color on Gladiator. We heard them,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America.

“Now Gladiator is both the only pickup to deliver open air freedom and the only pickup available in Tuscadero.”The paint option adds $895 to the price of the Gladiator, and will be offered alongside seven other exterior colors, including the new-for-2024 Anvil. To start, Tuscadero will only be available on the Sport, Mojave, and Rubicon trims, but it will be expanded to more grades in the coming months. For 2024, the Gladiator — and the Wrangler, for that matter — come with about $3,000 more standard trim than the 2023 model.

That includes first- and second-row side-curtain airbags, forward collision warning (in the Sport S and above), advanced cruise control with stop, the Uconnect 5 infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and more.Jeep is trying to attract customers back to the brand after a tough couple of years. In 2023, the automaker’s sales slid for the fifth consecutive year, and its new CEO said that the brand is intent on reversing that trend, especially in North America. The Jeep Gladiator is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 285 hp (212 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque.
