Force Gurkha 3-door Gets Refreshed With Updated Feature List, Styling Tweaks, And More Power

  • Feature packed in-line with the Gurkha 5 door variant.
  • Gets an all-new 9-inch infotainment screen and 7-inch digital driver’s display.

  • 2.6-litre diesel engine now produces 140 PS, a bump up of 49 PS.

While the spotlight may be on the Force Gurkha 5-door model, it's important not to overlook its 3-door counterpart which has received a handful of updates. Although missing out on the third-row seats and additional doors, the 2024 Gurkha 3-door receives all the latest features and uprated diesel engine which have been introduced in the 5-door version.

Enhanced Features:

The upgraded 3-door Gurkha now boasts a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 7-inch digital driver’s instrument cluster replacing the smaller 7-inch unit and analogue dials, respectively,

Comfort features include a manual AC (same as the outgoing model), tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, and powered windows. Safety features are limited to just dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and an inbuilt tyre pressure monitoring system which came as an aftermarket accessory earlier.

Under its hood, the Force Gurkha 3-door retains its 2.6-litre diesel engine but with the output tuned up to deliver 140 PS and 320 Nm (up by 49 PS and 70 Nm from the earlier version). This unit is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Unchanged Capability:

The core capabilities of the Gurkha remain intact, including standard 4WD with manually locking front and rear differentials and a high ground clearance of 233 mm. Additionally, it now features an electronic shift-on-the-fly toggle dial instead of a manual stick in the earlier model.Water wading depth is as high as 700 mm, all thanks to its factory-fitted air intake snorkel.
