Bajaj Dominar Range To Get An Update: Hints Executive Director At Pulsar NS400Z Launch

Bajaj Auto has recently launched the Pulsar NS400Z at an insanely competitive price. At the sidelines of the launch, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto, Rakesh Sharma revealed the brand’s future plans to update the Dominar range. We believe Bajaj might update both Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 with updated instrument consoles, new features, colours and updated graphics.

The next-gen Dominar 400 could feature a new TFT instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone connectivity. It may also get ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes and ABS modes, traction control, as well as basic cruise control, making the sporty cruiser even more touring-friendly and safer to ride.

While the smaller Dominar 250 is likely to get an updated LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation. Moreover, both the Dominars are expected to feature new colours with updated graphics too.

The engine and hardware on both bikes are likely to remain unchanged. The Dominar 400 is powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 40PS and 35Nm. Whereas the Dominar 250 is equipped with a 248.77cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces a peak output of 27PS and 23.5Nm. Both bikes are paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Both the bikes are expected to launch sometime in mid-2025 considering Bajaj already has its hands full with the new CNG bike launch, affordable Chetak launch, and new Pulsar bikes for this financial year. The Bajaj Dominar 400 is likely to get a premium of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 over its current price of Rs 2,30,815, whereas the Dominar 250 could get a price increase of around Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 over its current price of Rs 1,84,672 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
