2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Interior Revealed: Old vs New Compared

The upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO, basically the facelifted version of the XUV300, will be launched on April 29, 2024. It will be getting a whole lot of upgrades over the outgoing XUV300, including a revised exterior design featuring connected LED tail lights and an upgraded cabin with plenty of new features. In this report, we are going to take you through the major differences between the old and new cabins:

With this facelift, Mahindra has significantly updated the interior of the XUV 3XO over the outgoing XUV300’s slightly outdated interior. To begin with, it gets a new layout inspired from the XUV 400 EV. You get the new 10.25-inch floating infotainment system, as opposed to the outgoing model’s dashboard-mounted 7-inch unit.

The upcoming 3XO will get horizontal AC vents placed below the infotainment system instead of the vertical AC vents surrounding the infotainment unit on the earlier model. It also features a revamped dual-zone climate control panel with chunkier buttons and knobs. The XUV 3XO will retain the same steering wheel design but with a gloss black treatment instead of the silver inserts on the older model.

As seen in the recent teaser videos, the XUV 3XO will also get a segment-first panoramic sunroof instead of the single-pane sunroof on the XUV300. Other new additions in the features list includes a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, connected car tech, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional equipment should include a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, and ADAS functionality.

Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, a rear defogger, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and a 360-degree camera which is expected to make its way to the XUV 3XO. For reference, the XUV300 used to get a reverse parking camera with parking sensors.

The XUV 3XO will likely be powered by the existing powertrain options, which include a 110 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 130 PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 117 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. However, the XUV 3XO
