2024 Kia Sonet Facelift One-above-base HTK Variant: All Details In 8 Images
The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift has just hit the market with significant changes to its design and a bunch of new feature additions. While most of the latter are being offered in the higher variants, Kia hasn’t forgotten about the lower trims. So if you were in the market for a budget variant of the 2024 Kia Sonet and were looking at the one-above-base HTK variant, here’s everything you need to know about it:
Kia Sonet HTK Design
Design wise, the Sonet HTK doesn’t look like a one-above base variant. There’s halogen headlights instead of LEDs, no DRLs (that gets a styling outline, though), and the taillights are also halogen only. But the latter is still connected, albeit without any illumination.
You also get a different shade for the cladding elements on both the front and rear bumper.
Further uplifting the exterior look are the bits like the silver roof rack, the shark fin antenna and the 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels.

The manual AC controls do look slightly old school, but thankfully, there’s an 8-inch infotainment unit flanked with physical buttons and dials for various functionalities. Even the steering gets mounted controls – the same one you get in the much premium Seltos.
Coming to the seats, you get semi leatherette seats finished in an all black hue. The rear occupants don’t get adjustable headrests and the new Sonet completely misses out on headrests for the middle passenger, but on the flip side, you get rear sunshades that give you a layer of privacy.
Kia Sonet HTK features
Despite being on the lower end in the variant lineup, the HTK doesn’t ask you to compromise on the features front. In fact, it gets some decent kit including the aforementioned 8-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4.2-inch semi digital driver’s display, C-type chargers (1 at the front, 2 at the rear),
