The Miami Grand Prix just had its three-year anniversary last weekend, and we stopped by to see how it was doing and what it’s like to attend a Formula 1 race there now that it’s an established circuit.

MIAMI – Continuing in the same form he’s had all weekend, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen takes pole for the Miami Grand Prix. With a time of 1:27.241, he’s just over a tenth quicker than Charles Leclerc who finds himself starting in second as he did for the Sprint.
MIAMI – Red Bull’s Max Verstappen cruised to yet another victory this season at the Miami Grand Prix’s Sprint race this Saturday afternoon. His teammate Sergio Perez managed to nab third, while Charles Leclerc kept station and finished where he started in second place.
Wander the pits at any professional motorsports event, especially something like Formula 1, and you'll see endless computer displays full of telemetry. Modern teams are awash in real-time digital feedback from the cars. I've been in many of these pits over the years and marveled at the streams of data, but never have I seen an instance of the Microsoft Visual Studio software development suite running there right amid the chaos.
