SHANGHAI — Another Formula 1 race. Yet another victory for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
SHANGHAI (AP) — Max Verstappen of Red Bull has completed a Formula 1 double, taking the pole Saturday for the Chinese Grand Prix just hours after winning the first F1 sprint of the season.
SHANGHAI — McLaren's Lando Norris had his fastest lap deleted and reinstated as he seized pole position for the Chinese Grand Prix sprint race at the end of a wet and chaotic qualifying on Friday.
The Formula 1 troupe is racing in China this weekend and having an uneven time of it so far, what with weather and track issues. On this side of the world, there'll be an Oracle Red Bull Racing single-seater blasting through our nation's capital this weekend, where the roads are going to be even worse than the track in China, but the atmosphere will be just as rowdy and there's no chance of getting overtaken. Red Bull is doing one of its Showruns, ex-team driver David Coulthard piloting the RB7 (Sebastian Vettel's 2011 F1 Championship-winning car made to look like today's car) down Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 7th Avenues. Penn Ave runs from the U.S. Capitol to the White House, those four blocks closer to the Capitol end.

Ford's array of factory-backed experiences for owners expands with the coming Mustang Experience Center. Opening later this year adjacent to the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Ford previews it as "the destination for all things Mustang." A museum-style Heritage Gallery will take visitors on a tour of 60 years of Mustang, the obligatory retail shop full of merchandise mementos to take the memories home. The Ford Performance Racing School will host its Mustang Unleashed track day courses at the speedway complex, these aimed at the EcoBoost and GT Trims that finally get their own modules after the Dark Horse Track Attack. Students who want to upgrade their personal rides to match their new skills will be able to buy aftermarket parts at the Mustang Experience parts shop. For the truly horse crazy, the facility is ready to host corporate events and weddings, too.
SHANGHAI — Zhou Guanyu's Chinese fans hope the country's first and only Formula One driver can shrug off a poor run of form and shine on his home debut to answer the critics who view his passport as the predominant reason he has a drive.
