Everyone knows the Jimny is cute, yet capable—like a Jeep Renegade that got the assignment—but Japanese aftermarket specialists DAMD have found a way to increase the little-Suzuki-that-could's cuteness quotient by a factor of twelve, by restyling it to resemble rallying legends of the 1980s and '90s.
Since its launch in 2018, the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny has been modified by a long list of tuners from all over the world. We've seen it turned into a mini Ford Bronco, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class lookalike, a clone of the original Land Rover Defender, and a small pickup truck. The latest Jimny-based builds explore a completely different avenue by giving the off-roader a look inspired by rally cars from the 1980s.

The Tesla Cybertruck will not be crash-tested by the NHTSA in 2024, and it may never be tested by the IIHS, either. The list of vehicles that the NHTSA says will be included in 5-star safety tests for the 2024 model year does not feature the wedgy electric pickup, and that's partly because the Cybertruck delivery event took place a week after the NHTSA's list came out.
