We recently reported that the Cloud EV is expected to be among the first to arrive under MG’s upcoming model blitz for India. It's likely to be priced quite aggressively – under Rs 20 lakh – which means it will sit in the heart of the EV market, and will be MG’s third electric offering in India.

Electric car juggernaut, BYD, is set to expand its product portfolio with a bunch of new vehicles. One of them is the BYD Seal X, which is the production-spec version of Ocean-M Concept recently showcased at Beijing Auto Show. The car was recently homologated by Chinese MIIT and it could emerge as a very important product for BYD.
Nio launched its mass-market brand Onvo on May 15 and unveiled its first car, an electric mid-size SUV called Onvo L60. Nio revealed some details, like range and dimensions, but many key specs, like powertrain info or battery details, were left in the dark and will be revealed later.
In China, Ford manufactures the 3-row Equator and the 2-row Equator Sport mid-size SUVs. These are part of the collaboration between Ford and China-based JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation). The Equator Sport is exported to countries like Brazil, where it is known as the Territory. India launch is possible, as Ford had recently trademarked the ‘Territory’ name.

Tesla is canceling Cybertruck delivery appointments for a number of buyers, citing an «unexpected delay,» according to Carbuzz. The site quoted a number of posts at the Cybertruck Owners Club forum on the topic. In some cases, at least, Tesla also appears to be offering no firm deadline for when deliveries will resume, for instance telling one forum poster that it will «reach out again when we’re able to get you back on the schedule.»
