Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Name Trademarked; Logo Revealed

The Royal Enfield Hunter 450 is one of the hotly anticipated Royal Enfield models to be launched this year. And now the manufacturer has trademarked the name “Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450” and thus the upcoming 450cc bike based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 won’t be called the Hunter 450. The logo of the name has also been revealed.

The status of the trademark application is listed as ‘Formalities Chk Pass’, meaning the Indian Trademark Registry has authenticated the trademark application documents. The upcoming Guerrilla 450 has been spied numerous times till now. It gets retro elements like the rounded headlight, taillight and mirrors. The overall design looks quite similar to that of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 while the rear section looks similar to that of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock suspension setup along with a single-piece seat. When it was spied about four months ago, we got to know that it gets a raised handlebar with mid-set footpegs, which should translate to an upright riding position.

The upcoming bike will likely be powered by the same 450cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine found in the Himalayan 450 but expect the engine tuning to be different to suit the roadster’s character better. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be priced around the Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom) mark and will likely be launched by mid-2024. It will rival the likes of the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.
