Polestar Wants You To Design The Replacement For The Synergy Concept

Polestar has launched its 2024 Design Contest in partnership with Hot Wheels, the famous die-cast brand that appeals to enthusiasts of all ages.

This year, designers are encouraged to create a Hot Wheels collectible «propelled by the imagination of their youth» that also incorporates Polestar's design DNA. Contestants are being inspired to push the boundaries of design and be as imaginative as possible. While they are challenged to think out of the box, the only requirement is that it should be able to translate into a 1:64 Hot Wheels die-cast toy car.

Those lucky enough to get shortlisted ahead of the finale will receive coaching from Polestar's design team, allowing them to perfect their designs before the final submission.

The competition opens on March 5, with the deadline set for April 16. The winner of the contest will be revealed in Q4 2024.

But while we're expecting some of the most extreme submissions yet, we don't expect to be any less inspired by the quality, quantity,
