Mahindra XUV 3XO vs XUV300: Old vs New Compared

The Mahindra XUV 3XO has been launched as the updated version of the now outgoing XUV 300. This refreshed subcompact SUV boasts significant exterior enhancements, an entirely revamped interior inspired by the XUV400 EV, and a range of new features to give a good fight to the already feature-loaded sub-compact SUV segment. Let's delve into the notable visual disparities between the XUV 3XO and its predecessor.

Exterior

The XUV 3XO distinguishes itself with a redesigned split gloss black grille featuring six chrome slats and the latest Mahindra twin-peaks logo. Notably, it showcases elongated fang-shaped LED DRLs and updated headlight clusters housing projectors, like the ones on the Mahindra XUV 700. Additionally, its redesigned bumper integrates a larger air dam, front camera, and radar for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).The XUV 300, on the other hand, carried a less radical and cleaner look up front.

Enhancing its aesthetic appeal, the XUV 3XO sports freshly designed 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, as compared to the 16-inch rims of the outgoing car. However, the overall profile of the SUV remains largely unchanged.

Moreover, it now features the 'XUV 3XO' badge along with variant-specific labels, accompanied by a revised bumper showcasing a robust silver skid plate. Another primary design change is the number plate housing, which now has been moved down to the bumper rather than being on the boot lid.

Interior

Mahindra has significantly revamped the interior of the XUV 3XO. Drawing inspiration from the XUV400 EV, it boasts dual digital displays with a floating setup for the infotainment system. The steering wheel now has piano black inserts, while the outgoing model had silver inlays. Moreover, the dash top is adorned with soft-touch leatherette upholstery and you get a powerful 65 W USB Type-C fast-charging port, and repositioned central AC vents, along with an updated climate control panel for the dual zone AC.
