Leaked Lamborghini Supercar Isn't The Huracan Successor You Think It Is

Two blurry but very intriguing images of what looks like the Lamborghini Huracan successor have been leaked and posted online by the spy photographers at CocheSpias, and what they've captured looks very special indeed.

We can see centerlock wheels, a massive pair of ducts in the hood, louvered wheel arch vents, a snorkel behind the occupants feeding air to the engine, a large rear wing, and new lighting units.

At first glance, this looks like the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, a racecar that directly influenced the design of the Huracan STO. But at the front of the car, a hexagonal running light in each of the lower side intakes suggests that this is not a Huracan-based beast at all.

Spy shots of the upcoming baby Lambo replacement have revealed a very similar lighting accent on pre-production prototypes. The headlights and taillights on this leaked mystery machine also seem to align with those seen on Huracan replacement test mules.

These new images seem to indicate that the Huracan replacement is nearing the end of development and that Sant'Agata is hard at work on either a new Super Trofeo racecar or has already begun developing the Huracan STO of tomorrow.

Sadly, the poor quality of these images means we cannot confirm anything, and for all we know, this could be no more than a tuned Huracan built by an aftermarket company. However, the fact that the photographers were not able to get clear images suggests that a manufacturer was unloading this car and quickly put an end to the snaps.

What we do know is that the Huracan replacement will feature a hybridized engine, although the exact layout of the engine is yet to be confirmed. Most reports suggest an all-new twin-turbo V8 with the ability to rev to 10,000 rpm. We also know that the next baby Lambo will ride atop its own bespoke platform and that it will only arrive at the end of 2024.

While it would be nice to say that we've found images of the Huracan replacement, there is not enough evidence to confirm this with absolute certainty. A late-2024 timeline, little variation between the leaked car and the Super Trofeo racer, and the fact that the hexagonal DRL in the front is of a different orientation than that
