MELBOURNE, Australia — Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz ended Red Bull’s Formula 1 winning streak Sunday when the Spaniard took advantage of Max Verstappen's early retirement to win the Australian Grand Prix just two weeks after missing the previous race in Saudi Arabia due to an emergency appendectomy.
Ferrari has taken a one-two finish at the 2024 Australian Grand Prix, with Australian driver Oscar Piastri just missing out on a podium to his McLaren teammate, Lando Norris.

Max Verstappen stayed firmly on course for another season of dominance in Formula 1 on Saturday by winning the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
