The official teaser for the latest Drive to Survive season – the behind-the-scenes documentary series on the inside world of Formula One racing – has been released by Netflix.

Its mission is to accomplish what more than a dozen of its predecessors couldn't: Bring the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship back to Maranello. Heck, at this point team boss Fred Vasseur would probably be happy with a driver's title for Charles Leclerc or Carlos Sainz, even if that doesn't earn his team any prize money.
The Silver Arrows is back — literally. Mercedes-AMG F1 launched «the next phase» of its hopeful return to the front of the grid, a silver and black missile called the W15 E Performance. Put the whole make and model together, and the team wins the second-place cup for the longest team name, beating the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber C44 and Aston Martin Aramco F1 AMR24. First place for character usage, by a single letter, goes to the Visa Cash App Red Bull F1 VCARB 01. If Mercedes were still using EQ nomenclature, there'd be a tie.
At this point, Drive to Survive is an anchor product for Netflix. The first five seasons of the Formula 1 docuseries are staples at the top of the brand's charts, effectively making the world of European open-wheel racing one of the biggest properties the streaming service has without ever broadcasting a race. That window into F1 is opening up again with a new season covering 2023, and now we know the date: The sixth season of Drive to Survive premieres on February 23.
