Toyota Fortuner mild hybrid revealed
Toyota has introduced a mild-hybrid version of the Fortuner SUV in South Africa. The Fortuner MHEV shares its mild-hybrid tech with the Hilux MHEV that was revealed late last year. Following its introduction in South Africa, the SUV is also expected to go on sale in other markets in the coming months.
Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O) launched at Rs 20.99 lakh
The Toyota Innova Hycross petrol has a new top-spec GX (O) variant, which is priced between Rs 20.99 lakh-21.13 lakh, and is available in seven- and eight-seater configurations. Compared to the previous top-spec Hycross petrol GX variant, the GX (O) adds more features. Toyota Taisor to be sold as Starlet Cross overseas
Toyota recently launched the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor in India, and sources now say that the made-in-India SUV will be rebadged and sold as the Toyota Starlet Cross in international markets. The Taisor is essentially a rebadged Maruti Fronx with some brand-specific design tweaks.

Toyota Hilux EV confirmed for 2025, Isuzu D-Max EV rival
Toyota has confirmed its plans of introducing a battery-powered Hilux pickup truck by the end of next year, initially in the Thailand market. The announcement comes just a few days after Isuzu revealed the D-Max EV (D-MAX BEV) at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024, and announced that it would manufacture the electric pickup truck in Thailand by 2025.
