Two things you can be sure of about in the Chinese EV world are how fast moving it is and that one company will always try to outdo another. Just yesterday we reported that BYD and Geely both claimed that their latest PHEV systems are capable of 2000 km and can achieve under 3 l/100km. Well currently Chery is trying to one up them with a real world test that they’re currently live streaming.
The Luxeed S7 joins a growing list of cars that has a high degree of self-driving ability in Chinese cities. In an upgrade via OTA the car will gain five core functions and 15+ experience optimizations.
On March 18, Chery’s Exeed brand announced that its new flagship Exlantix ET all-electric SUV will start pre-sales on April 15 in China. The car is known as the Sterra ET on the Chinese market. The first batch of mass-produced vehicles already rolled off the production line in Anhui Province in January. An EREV version will also be launched in the future.
The Chery Fulwin T10 PHEV has been revealed by a government regulator in China. It has taken us by surprise as we assumed that the Fulwin T9 shown last month was the PHEV version of the Chery Tiggo 9, the T10 however seems to be yet another version but is slightly bigger than both the base car and the Fulwin T9.

It’s very common for Chinese brands to add ‘Max’ or ‘Pro’ to the name of an existing model and create a new variant. One of the most obvious differences with the new car is the far more enclosed front face.
It’s either apples or cherries when it comes to the iCar. The day after Apple in the US announced it was ceasing work on the so called iCar, Chery in China launched the iCar 03. And while Apple lost confidence Chery seems to think it can sell 10,000 a month.
If you thought the iCar was from Apple it seems that Chinese producer Chery has beaten the Cupertino, California based company to the use of the name. The iCar 03 will launch on February 28.
CATL announced that the first mass-produced car equipped with a new LFP 2.0 Shenxing battery would be the Exeed Exlantix ET. During the extreme cold testing at -20 °C (-4°F) in Inner Mongolia, the electric SUV charged to 80% in 24 minutes. In normal conditions at 25°C (77°F), it can add 400 km in 10 minutes, according to Exeed.
